Burlington Guest House Whiting Bay, Whiting Bay

The hotel is situated excellently, right on the beachfront of Whiting bay making it very convenient for anyone in this area visiting the rest of Arran. While the rooms had some slight issues like a squeaking bathroom door and coffee cups not being replaced, the fantastic view across the Firth of Clyde from the 2nd floor made up for it. The service was a mix of extremely helpful staff but with occasional lapses like forgetting part of my order. The location of the hotel was top-notch, next to a few pubs in a nice village by the sea with easy access to various walking routes and transportation. The dining experience was delightful, including the best scrambled egg of the holiday and being very close to the local co-op for breakfast options. Overall, a great value for money stay but with room for improvement in service consistency and room maintenance.

The hotel offers a lovely sea view and great En-Suite facilities. The evening meal was very nice with large portions of good quality ingredients. However, the rooms were just okay with some maintenance issues like the toilet handle hanging off the wall and the shower not staying in place. The furniture seemed old and tired.
